On March 7, 1952, a banquet was held in honor of India’s ambassador to the United States at the Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles. After the banquet Paramhansa Yogananda gave a brief speech. Upon uttering the final words of his talk, he left his body and entered Mahasamadhi.
