We are launching the beginner’s meditation class weekend series: Learn to Meditate: Level 1 on the Path of Kriya Yoga starting on Sunday, 26th Nov 2023
Time: 10:30AM – 12:30PM
This is a four-part class series, which will be held in person at our Ananda Sangha Kolkata, Dover Lane Center.
All Ananda sessions are based on the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda.
Meditation as taught by the great Yoga Masters is a great way to remain calm and centered in any situation. It forms the cornerstone of deep spiritual blessings. It is key to cultivating states of well-being, inner joy, peace, love.
The classes will cover the following topics:
✨ What is Meditation
✨Why Meditate: restoring the well-being of body, mind and soul
✨What is Prana, life force and ways to awaken and regulate it
✨Correct Meditation Posture, routine and gear
✨The Hong-Sau technique of Meditation
✨39 Energization Exercises designed by Paramhansa Yogananda
✨ Basic Asanas and Pranayaams to strengthen core practice
✨ Visualization and other spiritual practices

This will include a FREE chart on Energization Exercises and access to our Thursday group meditations and satsangs. (Course book available for purchase at the center)
For those interested in the sacred Kriya technique extolled in Yogananda’s Autobiography of a Yogi, this class is the first step in a series of classes that culminate in Kriya Yoga.
