DESCRIPTION:Dear Ones\, \nWe are very happy to announce that Ananda Sangha Kolkata will be hosting a pilgrimage to the Tulsi Bose Shrine. \nTulsi Bose was the boyhood friend of Parmahansa Yogananda. Yogananda ji would often come to Tulsi Bose’s home to meditate when his own home was too busy or too noisy. It is at this place where Yogananda ji started his very first school. He also began teaching people meditation on this property in an organized way. It truly is where his worldwide work began. \nMany saints have visited this house including Swami Vivekananda\, Swami Sri Yukteswar\, Anandamoyi Ma\, Swami Kriyananda\, and Swami Atmananda. Many visitors feel the lasting presence of so many saints that have spent time here. \nWe are having the blessed presence of Manash Mukherjee (Son of (Late) Shri Debi Mukherjee and (Late) Smt. Hassi Mukhejee\, daughter of Tulsi Narayan Bose\, boyhood friend of Paramhansa Yogananda) with us during the pilgrimage. \n\nFrom Tulsi Bose Shrine\, we will go to Bhaduri Math (Levitating Saint’s house) and spend some time reading\, chanting and meditating. \nWe will return to the Shrine and have an Aarti\, followed by Prasadam. \nTimings: 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm \nWe are charging a nominal amount of Rs. 300 for conducting the pilgrimage. This will help us to serve you better.
